Who is responsible for your data
The entity responsible for personal data processed through this site is Collin J. Landmeterskantoor, a Belgian general partnership (vennootschap onder firma / société en nom collectif) d/b/a Move abroad with my dog. Antwerp, Belgium. VAT/KBO: BE 0475.501.720. Payments are processed by Stripe, acting as our Merchant of Record, which handles billing, sales tax/VAT, and receipts. Contact: moveabroadwithmydog@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you use the matcher, we collect the answers you provide, which may include:
- Nationality (and second nationality, if you choose to share it)
- Ancestry / family-citizenship countries
- Age, education level, occupation
- Income range, family situation, pets
- Climate and continent preferences
- Spouse occupation and income (optional)
We also collect basic technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referrer.
How we use your data
- To provide the service — compute your visa matches and deliver Pro features or purchased guides.
- To improve the service — prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve scoring.
- With your consent — for optional analytics.
- For legal compliance — to meet tax, accounting, and other legal record-keeping obligations.
Sensitive information
Some answers (nationality, ancestry, use of LGBTQ-related filters) may be sensitive. We process these only when you choose to enter them and only to compute your matches. We do not sell or share this data with advertisers.

- Our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud / Supabase)
- Stripe (acting as our Merchant of Record), for payment processing, tax, and invoicing when you upgrade to Pro or buy a guide
- Privacy-friendly analytics
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Anonymous matcher answers are retained for product improvement. If you create an account, we retain your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to meet legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting records).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact us at moveabroadwithmydog@gmail.com to make a request. We respond within a reasonable time, typically within one month.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for essential functionality (session, login, payment) and, with your consent, privacy-friendly analytics. Non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them via our cookie banner.

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. By using the service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions.
